Dorothy and Richmond | Emerald City Trapeze | Seattle Wedding | Chinese Wedding | Associate Planner Erika

On her wedding day, Dorothy described herself to me as and "introverted extrovert" and it could not have been more accurate. She and Richmond were both very sweet and laid back but quiet throughout the planning process so you can imagine my surprise when Dorothy spent the whole night on stage, singing karaoke with the band!

Our "Day-of" Coordination package was just what these two needed. They knew exactly what they wanted but just needed my help running the show...literally! Their ceremony and reception took place at one of the most unique wedding venues I have ever worked at, Emerald City Trapeze. Their grand entrance was straight out of a boxing match and the Karaoke Kings played their reception, allowing guests to get up on stage and rock out with the band.

With their lovely purple and white florals and homemade decor, bowling ball cookie favors (an ode to how they met), and a wardrobe change into a traditional red Chinese dress,  Dorothy and Richmond's wedding was the perfect example of how to make your big day your own!
