Kat and John | St James Cathedral Wedding | Ballard Bay Club Wedding | Filipino Wedding Planner | Seattle Wedding Planner | Pink Purple and Yellow Wedding

How lucky am I to get to work with the sweetest couples?!  Kat and John are still friends to this day, and I was so blessed to be a part of their wedding.  Keeping with the tradition of Catholic Filipino weddings, they held their wedding ceremony in Seattle's gorgeous St. James Cathedral.  Kat's stunning veil and gown were a perfect compliment to the long aisles of the church.

Guests then transitioned to a more causal reception at Jewel Hospitality's Ballard Bay Club, located right on Shilshole Bay Beach.  It was an absolutely gorgeous Seattle day, so the water was sparkling while guests got to mix and mingle on the outdoor patio.  The decor was kept simple and sweet with touches of purples, pinks and greens.  Some of the purple flowers were even supplied by my yard.  :)  One of my favorite touches was the monogrammed "K" and "J" wood floral boxes filled with succulents.  And, of course, no Filipino wedding would be complete without the traditional lechon (roasted pig) and money dance.
