Alyssa & Aaron's Black & White Sodo Park Wedding

When a fellow wedding planner gets married, you know it will be one for the books! It helps that Alyssa and Aaron’s amazing style is the picture of sophistication and bold elegance. The elegant black and white color scheme that they chose, laid the foundation for a beautiful wedding in the Sodo neighborhood of Seattle. We truly love working with Herban Feast Catering and when you get the chance to work with them at one of their own venues, you’ll be sure to get the best possible service. If you are considering Sodo Park as a venue for your own wedding, know that you’ll truly be taken care of by the catering team and venue staff. Add in our planning services and you’ll have a real dream team!

Let’s set the stage for a truly upscale wedding with the perfect invitations. Each of the details that Alyssa and Aaron added say: “I’m refined, bold, and I like bows, so there!”. Take a page out of their book and decide what you like, then unabashedly add it to your wedding!

Their monochromatic and bold but femenine scheme was continued throughout the entire event, all the way down to the cute little escort cards. We love the way that Flowers by Karen used modern white cake stands for their centerpieces to bring the hydrangeas up off of the table.

The main tip we can take away from Alyssa and Aaron is that there’s no reason to shake tradition just for the sake of it. Embrace the wedding traditions you love and put your all into making them a part of your OWN wedding day. If you asked any of Alyssa and Aaron’s guests, they would tell you that this event, including all the traditions, truly represented them as a couple. Let our wedding planning experience help you to create your own perfect day.
