World Trade Center Seattle Wedding Inspiration
Weddings on the Waterfront
Although Weddings on the Waterfront only went for its inaugural year; I was so honored to have been a part of it! I was put at the World Trade Center, which was perfect for my design concept. I wanted to showcase my knowledge and love of Asian weddings, and incorporating the giant globe on the ceiling was my inspiration for doing so. I erected a large “Chuppah” in effect over the Sweetheart table with elegant draping and 1,001 cranes cascading from the ceiling as the main focal point of the room. Tables were accented with beautiful linens and ghost chairs as to not take away from the waterfront view of the venue. Place settings had origami escort cards, chopsticks and orchids on every plate. Each table also featured a different centerpiece design in ivory’s and whites to keep the Sweetheart table as the main focal point.
