I have known Kainoa off and on for years. It wasn't until we ran into each other again at a local Seattle wedding show, that I found out she was engaged, and was planning her wedding for summer 2015 at Heritage Hall in Kirkland. Bringing in her and Mark's Hawaiian heritage into their wedding day was a big priority for them. Everything from a beautiful lei exchange to the food had a very Hawaiian-island feel, it made me miss living there so much! It was wonderful to be a part of such a loving couple surrounded by friends and family. Of course, a Hawaiian wedding wouldn't be complete without a traditional hula to the groom, and a performance by Kainoa's halau (hula group).
