Can I just tell you how much I love my job?! One of the biggest opportunities and challenges as a wedding planner is networking. It is the biggest blessing and hardest thing to make time for.

After making myself go out to a networking event this past month hosted by Junebug weddings, I had the opportunity to meet Brian Hartman of Photo Elan- a photographer who is just as passionate about Hawaii destination weddings as I am.

About a week later, we met up again over coffee where I also had the opportunity to meet Brian’s amazing wife Jennifer, who grew up in Hawaii.

Even though this husband and wife photography team is based in Seattle, they love to be given the opportunity to work with couples who are looking to have a destination wedding in Hawaii.

This is a lovely team, and a very sweet couple. I am blessed to have gotten to know them, and look forward to working with them whether it be here in Seattle, or Hawaii.

While chatting with them over coffee, I asked them to share a few words of what makes them unique from fellow wedding photographers. I am excited to share with you what they had to say.

‘As a husband and wife photography team, Brian and Jennifer each have unique artistic vision making their brand much more sought after. They have been working together for 5 years shooting weddings, and have been married for 10. Knowing each other and working day in and day out in a business really creates a strong product for our customers. They work together sharing the load of email, editing, photography, and the day to day business. They each have our strengths and almost zero ego, so they definitely get things done.’

Their fine art wedding books are custom made by them and their binding suppliers in Italy and the U.S. so you can be sure you will have a timeless masterpiece album.Jennifer and Brian are based in Seattle and Hawaii.

Here is a preview of some of their work.  You can also check them out on their website www.photoelan.com.

Aloha! Rebecca
